Terms of Service – WKND Bakes

Welcome to WKND Bakes (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order through our website (wkndbakes.com), Instagram, or any other platform, you agree to the following Terms of Service.


1. General

WKND Bakes is a home-based bakery operating in Singapore. All products are made to order in small batches. By purchasing from us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.


2. Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be placed in advance via our website or official communication channels.

  • Full payment is required to confirm your order unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.


3. Custom Orders

  • For customised cakes and desserts, design details must be confirmed prior to payment.

  • While we aim to match requested designs, final products may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of our items.

  • We are not responsible for dissatisfaction due to subjective design expectations once the agreed concept has been met.


4. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Changes to orders must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or collection.

  • Cancellations made before 48 hours may be eligible for partial refunds at our discretion.

  • No refunds will be provided for last-minute cancellations.


5. Delivery & Collection

  • We offer delivery within Singapore. Delivery fees and time slots will be communicated at checkout or via confirmation.

  • Customers must ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the agreed time.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g. traffic, weather, courier issues).

  • Once delivered, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer.


6. Product Storage & Handling

  • Our products are best consumed on the day of delivery unless otherwise stated.

  • Customers are responsible for proper storage (e.g. refrigeration where required).

  • We are not responsible for damage or spoilage after delivery due to improper handling.


7. Allergies & Dietary Information

  • Our kitchen handles common allergens including but not limited to dairy, eggs, nuts, and gluten.

  • While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that products are free from trace allergens.

  • Customers with severe allergies should exercise caution when ordering.


8. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final.

  • Refunds or replacements are only considered in cases of:

    • Incorrect items delivered

    • Products received in damaged condition

  • Any issues must be reported within 2 hours of receiving the order, with photo evidence.


9. Intellectual Property

  • All images, designs, and content on our website and social media belong to WKND Bakes.

  • Customers may not reproduce or use our designs for commercial purposes without permission.


10. Limitation of Liability

  • WKND Bakes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

  • Our maximum liability shall not exceed the value of the purchased order.


11. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
